Tools and Registries
This area hosts useful digital services and resources, developed and provided by members of the DYAS network. These services are offered to Humanities scholars and cultural collections managers (e.g. archivists, librarians, museum curators) in order to promote the practices of sharing open data and systems interoperability.
The Digital Humanities Observatory aims to study the penetration of digital methods in the field of Humanities and to monitor the national developments in the field of Digital Humanities. It also focuses in raising awareness of the Humanities research communities towards the use of the research infrastructure and knowledge dissemination.
Priority of the Digital Humanities Observatory but also of the Network as a whole is to reinforce the community of the researchers of the Humanities around issues on digital tools and technologies, as well as on theoretical and methodological issues arising from their use on research, teaching and publication.
