Sunday, 28 June

19:00 – 21:30 Birds-of-a-feather dinner (by invitation only)

The dinner will be hosted by the Digital Curation Unit, IMIS-Athena Research Centre at Seychelles Restaurant, Kerameikou 49, Athens. Situated in the lively area of Kerameikos, we suggest that you follow this path from Kerameikos Metro Station to the restaurant (13 minutes walk). Alternatively, you can reach the restaurant from Metaxourgeio Metro Station following this path (7 minutes walk) but we would strongly advise you to use the first path.

 

Wednesday, 1 July

20:00 Dinner (by invitation only)

The dinner will be hosted by the Digital Curation Unit, IMIS-Athena Research Centre at Attikos Greek House Restaurant, Garivaldi 7, Acropolis, Athens. It is situated in the beautiful area of Acropolis, near the Acropolis Museum (map).

Take this opportunity to visit the Acropolis Museum! You can visit it from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm following this path from the Meeting Venue in Plaka.

 

Wednesday, 1 July – Friday, 3 July

Theatrical play “Socrates now”

The international theatrical production based on Plato’s “Apology” returns to the beautiful courtyard of the Athens University Museum building, beneath the Acropolis, a few steps from where the philosopher was sentenced to death 2400 years ago. More information here.

 

Thursday, 2 July

13:00-13:40: Guide Tour in the Athens University History Museum

The Director of the Athens University History Museum will guide us in the Museum during lunch break.
